Cultivating Reliability

In the modern world of ethical consumption and corporate social responsibility (CSR), reliability and transparency in the cotton supply chain have become non-negotiable values.

European cotton production, conforming to these requirements, cultivates reliability through the combined action of sustainability certifications, regenerative practices, advanced traceability technology, and a consistent effort to reduce the environmental footprint, and ensures that each stage of production adheres to strict standards of quality and environmental responsibility.

Thus, EU cotton is evolving into a product that effectively addresses contemporary challenges with regard to quality, transparency, and respect for the environment.

Sustainability Certifications and Transparency

Initiatives such as AGRO2 and Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), in conjunction with regenerative agriculture practices, enhance the credibility of European cotton. They promote sustainable farming practices, reduce the environmental footprint, and improve working conditions in the field. These ongoing efforts are reflected in every stage of the production chain, as European crops have adopted innovative tools for the implementation and certification of procedures in the field.

Traceability Platforms

The use of specialized traceability platforms ensures transparency and reliability at all stages of production, from farm to the end product. In addition, tools such as QR codes enable consumers to monitor the origin and production practices, reinforcing confidence and responsibility throughout the supply chain.

Good Logistics

Guarantees fast and reliable transport services as well as timely delivery, adopting efficient production processes. The high degree of professionalism in the industry, with its dedicated growers and processors, enhances the reliability and international competitiveness of EU cotton, offering soft, comfortable, long-lasting, high-quality products.

EUCOTTON Protocol

The Protocol enhances transparency in the EU cotton production chain with strict requirements and innovative traceability applications, recording each stage, from farm to end product.

Production under the EUCOTTON protocol is carried out exclusively within the European Union, leveraging proximity to ensure compliance with strict European standards.

Producers, processors, weavers and retailers can use the EUCOTTON label as long as they conform to the protocol standards, which require that the EU Cotton content percentage in finished textile products made purely from cotton should be 100%, while the content percentage in products made from cotton and other materials should be at least 50%.

Through a dedicated online platform, as well as barcodes and QR code labels, consumers and partners have full access to origin labelling and production practices. Production is carried out exclusively within the EU, adhering to strict European standards and ensuring high quality is achieved, while every stage is monitored and certified by independent bodies.

In addition, EUCOTTON is legally protected by the EU Trade Mark Regulation fostering uniqueness and trust in the trade mark.
