On 11 August 2026, EU Cotton organised a B2B dinner at Hotel Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, bringing together professionals from the Swedish fashion and textile sector.
The dinner provided a targeted setting for networking and direct dialogue, giving participants the opportunity to learn more about the EU Cotton programme and the characteristics of European cotton. Particular attention was given to its European origin, quality and responsible production, as well as its potential role in contemporary fashion and textile applications.
Through discussions with industry professionals, EU Cotton was able to better present the value of European cotton and exchange views on current expectations regarding material choice, transparency and sustainability within the fashion sector.
The activity also created opportunities to establish and strengthen contacts with professionals operating in the Swedish market, supporting the programme’s wider objective of bringing European cotton production closer to potential business partners across the textile value chain.
